Janice Forsyth talks to Dr Hook's Dennis Locorriere, plus Josh Record performs live, surreal comic Tony Law is in the studio and novelist Rana Dasgupta talks about Delhi.
On today's show...
Comedian Tony Law is bringing his unique brand of surreal comedy to the Glasgow International Comedy Festival on Sunday but he joins Janice first - fresh from a trip to deep space (so he tells us...)
With hits like Sylvia's Mother, Sexy Eyes and When You're In Love With A Beautiful Woman, Dr Hook were one of the biggest selling bands of the 70s. They've got a greatest hits album out this week and singer Dennis Locorriere will re-live some of their biggest moments with us.
Artist Tania Kovats tells Janice how she has managed to bring the world's oceans to Edinburgh - literally - for a new exhibition.
Novelist Rana Dasgupta tells Janice about writing his first work of non-fiction, a biography of the city of Delhi.
Singer-songwriter Josh Record will be performing his new single for us live!
And a new series of comedy monologues begins.
All that and some great music.
