Mark Beaumont reports on the journey of the Queen's baton relay through the Commonwealth. Here, he learns how athletes across the Commonwealth are preparing for the Games.

With the Commonwealth Games fast approaching, Mark Beaumont, travelling with the Queen's Baton Relay, finds out how athletes and communities around the Commonwealth are getting ready for the Games in Glasgow this July. The Queen's Baton is more than half way round its journey to every nation and territory of the Commonwealth, and this programme features some of the first African countries it passes through. Mark meets the para-athlete hopefuls in Cameroon, the Namibian road cycling team and one of the Games' youngest medal hopefuls in the Seychelles. As well as sporting stories, Mark will be visiting communities and meeting some of the characters that make up the modern Commonwealth.
