St Valentine's Day

On Valentine's weekend, Diane Louise Jordan explores themes of love and relationships within the bible and in everyday life. Plus, inspirational music from Beverly Crawford.

On the weekend when love is celebrated in the heart of all romantics, Diane Louise Jordan explores how one love story, thousands of years old, continues to be an inspiration. Gospel music comes from Beverly Crawford while the traditional hymn "My Song is Love Unknown" is performed by the choir of Kings College Cambridge. The London Community Gospel Choir makes an appearance with "God is Love" and Diane hears from listeners with requests for her to light virtual candles for their loved ones. The programme finishes with Dionne Warwick singing "I Lift My Heart".
