The bad news is only one British man is tipped to win an individual medal at the Winter Olympics in Sochi. After a run ofÌý fifteen yearsÌý ITV’s ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ broadcast its last show this week. Back in 2000, it was a woman, Judith Keppel , who became the show’s first seven figure jackpot winner. SheÌý went on to make a career out of her success becoming a resident panellist on Â鶹ԼÅÄ2’sÌýÌý ‘Eggheads’ but she has said she doubts she would ever have entered Millionaire at allÌý if she had still been a married woman. Why are women such a small minority in the world of competitive quizzing and are single women more likely to succeed? Jenni talks to Judith and to quiz programme producer Paul Bajoria.

Women who have lost their partner to drug addiction
This week the world of film and theatre has been rocked by news of the death of Philip Seymour Hoffman. Police suspect the actor died of an overdose; he was discovered with a hypodermic syringe in his arm and bags of heroin in his Manhattan apartment. Hoffman lived through a familiar pattern of experimentation, addiction, rehab, abstinence, relapse… He leaves behind three children.Ìý Jenni is joined by Elizabeth Burton-Phillips, founder of which is a support group for families of drug addicts, andÌýby Gail, who spent 20 years with a partner who was addicted to heroin.
