Oysterband and Celtic Connections highlights
Mark introduces the Oysterband live in the Salford studio and selects live highlights from Glasgow's Celtic Connections festival.
An hour of the best folk and acoustic music from Britain and beyond.
This Wednesday, Mark returns to the Salford studio after two days broadcasting from Glasgow's Celtic Connections festival.
His guests are giants of British folk rock: Oysterband. The group, who received a bagful of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 2 Folk Awards for their 2011 collaboration with June Tabor, have returned to original material on their new album, Diamonds on the Water. They perform tracks from it.
Mark also continues Radio 2's extensive coverage of Glasgow's Celtic Connections festival, with further highlights from the event.
