Russell Davies interviews musical theatre star Marti Webb.

Russell Davies interview A-list legends of music, art, comedy and film. This week, Russell is in conversation with musical theatre star Marti Webb.

Marti came to prominence on the West End stage when she became Elaine Paige's successor in the title role of "Evita". She went on to star in Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Tell Me On A Sunday", which not only made her a household name but also gave her a No. 3 hit single in the UK chart with "Take That Look Off Your Face". Marti has since gone on to star in several theatre productions including "Blood Brothers", "Oklahoma!" and "42nd Street" and release numerous studio albums.

She speaks to Russell about her art, alongside a soundtrack inspired by her career.
