Edith Bowman speaks to film-makers Joel and Ethan Coen about their musical influences and the songs that have soundtracked their work. The Coens are behind some of the most critically acclaimed movies of recent times, including Fargo, The Big Lebowski and O Brother Where Art Thou. In this exclusive interview, they reveal how fundamentally important music is to them as part of the creative process.
There are also contributions from longtime collaborator T-Bone Burnett, who has scored many of their films, and Oscar Isaac, who stars in their latest project, Inside Llewyn Davies, which is about the folk scene in 1960s New York.
