Penny Gore continues her week featuring recent concerts by the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scottish Symphony Orchestra with a performance given last November in Glasgow's City Halls of Benjamin Britten's community opera Noye's Fludde. It's written for soloists and orchestra as usual, but also invites audience participation and parts for amateur performers and tuned tea cups. Can Noah persaude his wife on to the Ark before the rains set in?
Plus a Haydn Symphony and a concertante work by Tchaikovsky as part of the week's Russian concerto theme.
