This series sees Russell Davies interview A-list legends of music, art, comedy and film. This week, Russell interviews British actor Brian Blessed.
Brian began his training at the Old Vic Theatre School in Bristol, and has gone on to star in countless productions, both on stage and screen. His work includes numerous Shakespeare adaptations, films like Flash Gordon and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, as well as West End musicals including Cats and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
From impersonating Pavarotti on Celebrity Stars In Their Eyes to providing one of the voices for the satnav, Brian shares his stories with Russell, alongside music inspired by his career.
