Clemency Burton-Hill introduces recordings by the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's starry line-up of New Generation Artists, the young musicians Radio 3 believes will be the stars of the future. Today a chance to hear two singers perform Schumann: the Ukrainian soprano Olena Tokar, part of the class of 2013, and British mezzo Jennifer Johnston, who graduates from the scheme after two fabulous years. And the Danish String Quartet perform one of Beethoven's late, great, masterpieces.
