Kaye Adams asks how easy it is to tell people you have a mental health problem.

A survey shows that more than three quarters of people would not tell their neighbours if they were diagnosed with schizophrenia while only 35% would tell their boss and less than a third would tell their work colleagues. Tomorrow (Thursday) SANE is launching a campaign to raise awareness of the impact of depression and other mental health conditions, combat the stigma surrounding mental ill-health and encourage people to seek help. Also on Thursday Channel 4's Bedlam series - that 'boldly challenges the myths and taboos about mental illness' - continues.
