Adam Walton visits the Northop campus of Glyndwr University, which is shared with Coleg Cambria, and explores Equine Science - from the biology and physiology of the horse, to how our understanding of the horse can improve its welfare.

We hear from Tamsin Young who is programme leader for the Equine Science and Welfare Management degree course, and Rosie MacDiarmid who is a part time lecturer and vet. Also in the programmeÌýDebbie Nash, a lecturer in Equine & Animal science at Aberystwyth University explains equineÌýexercise physiology, and reporter Llinos Jones visits the Pen-y-Trip project near Porthmadog which usesÌýexperimental Equine Assisted TherapyÌýtoÌýtackle such things as confidenceÌýand agression issues with young people.
