Sally Beamish talks about her new commission Flodden, written to mark the 500th anniversary of the historic battle. Plus music from Bizet's operas Carmen and The Pearl Fishers.

Jamie is joined this week by composer Sally Beamish to discuss her new piece Flodden, commissioned by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra on the 500th anniversary of this historic battle. It's also the 175th birthday of French composer Bizet and we'll be playing music from his classic operas Carmen and The Pearl Fishers.
