Trevor Nelson pays tribute to Whitney Houston, one of pop's greatest voices and most successful artists.

Whitney Houston was one of pop music's most high profile figures - and one of its most successful, with over 200 million albums sold, 30 Billboard Music Awards, 6 Grammys and 2 Emmys.

Songs like Saving All My Love For You, Greatest Love Of All, I Wanna Dance With Somebody and I Will Always Love You were almost unavoidable on your radio in the late 80s and early 90s, but, as Trevor Nelson finds out, behind the music the story developed a darker side.

There were well documented issues with drugs and rehab, off-stage disasters and a marriage to Bobby Brown partly lived out in public on reality TV.

She died aged 48 in 2012, but will always be remembered for having the ultimate musical instrument - a pitch perfect voice.
