Clare Balding hosts the topical faith show. Her guest this morning is acclaimed Christian singer-songwriter and worship leader, Matt Redman. Matt's 2011 album "10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)" won two GRAMMY awards, a Billboard Music Award and the title track was named ASCAP's Christian Music Song of the Year. His new live album "Your Grace Finds Me" is out in September. Clare will also talk to the actor David Gooderson about his play "Kolbe's Gift" based on the life of the 20th century Polish saint, Maximilian Kolbe, who gave his life to save another's in Auschwitz concentration camp. Her faith guest is Raheel Mohammed.

Matt Redman is one of this country’s most successful Christian recording artists and his music is often played on Good Morning Sunday. He had huge success, especially in the USA,with his 2011 album “10,000 Reasons” which won him two GRAMMY awards, a Dove Award, a Billboard Music Award and was named ASCAP’s Christian Music Song of the Year. Matt’s latest project “Your Grace Finds Me” was released24th September.
Raheel Mohammed
Raheel is the Director of Maslaha, an organisation whichseeks to empower disadvantaged communities to overcome social inequalities through education and inspiration
He has been profiled in The Guardian Newspaper, in a supplement focusing on social pioneers. He is a global speaker on issues around social enterprise, social innovation, minority communities and faith, addressing both government agencies as well as community, creative, and business institutions. He has written and spoken regularly in the media.
Raheel has also been invited to speak at the World Islamic Economic Forum attended by business leaders, leading thinkers and heads of state. He wasalso selected for the Muslim Leaders of Tomorrow Conference in Doha.
Raheel helped set up and was the Assistant Director at the award-winning Offscreen Education Programme, advising on and initiating education programmes designed to raise awareness of Middle East and Muslim cultures.He is also an award-winning journalist
David Gooderson
David Gooderson'splay,“Kolbe’s Gift”, is on this week atthe Leicester Square Theatre in London. The play isbased on the life of Maximilian Kolbe,one of the ten 20th century martyrs whose statues stand above the Great West Door of Westminster Abbey. Kolbe was a Polish Franciscan priest who perished inAuschwitz Concentration Camp when he gave his life for another.
David Gooderson isanactor and writer,best known for his roles as Davros in 鶹Լ1’s Dr Who and the pathologist Simkins in ITV’s A Touch of Frost.Davidspent over 10 years researching the life of Maximilian Kolbe and the fate ofthe man whose life he saved.
