Janice Forsyth talks to Michael Morpurgo about his new version of children's classic Pinocchio, plus John Legend discusses his new album Love in the Future.
Michael Morpurgo discusses his recently published version of the children's classic Pinocchio. John Legend discusses life, love and music with his new album Love In The Future. Live Transmission: Joy Division Reworked is based on the music of Joy Division, reinterpreted by electronic music pioneer Scanner and the Heritage Orchestra, with visuals by Matt Watkins - Janice finds out more. Acclaimed performer, director, playwright (and magician) Rob Drummond talks about his Arches production of the Bullet Catch which has claimed the lives of at least twelve illusionists, assistants and spectators since its conception in 1613. And Janice finds out what's on offer at Luminate, Scotland's festival of creative ageing which is now in its second year. Plus a book of bad jokes from 1929 - cult classic 'Jokes Cracked By Lord Aberdeen' is re-published this month by Scott Pack, and Janice finds how the book has developed such a following. All that and loads of great music including new singles from Jack Johnson, Prefab Sprout and Chvrches.
