Janice Forsyth takes a look at Chris Hannan's new adaptation of Dostoevsky's novel Crime and Punishment with Dominic Hill, artistic director at the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow.
Today marks the 500th anniversary of the tragedy of the Battle of Flodden. To commemorate, Stirling Castle are holding a series of events, including an art exhibition by Iona Leishman, called Catastrophe to Crown. Iona joins Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ presenter Dr Fiona Watson as they both talk to Janice about the anniversary.
Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ ALBA celebrates 5 years on screen this year and has announced details of the first ever pilot for a Gaelic drama series to be broadcast on the channel. Still in its initial stages of production, the three-part drama titled 'Bannan' or in English 'The Ties That Bind' will come to TV screens next year. Producer Chris Young and Screenwriter Chrisella Ross drop by to tell Janice all about it.
After news this week that Designer Oscar de la Renta halved his guest list for a catwalk show at New York Fashion Week in New York because there are too many poseurs crowding the runways, we get a Scottish perspective from fashion writer Lynne McCrossan and designers Jenn Coyle and Lyndsey Pagan.
Plus we take a look at Chris Hannan's new adaptation of Fyodor Dostoyevsky's epic novel Crime and Punishment with Dominic Hill from the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow.
