An hour of the best folk and acoustic music from Britain and beyond, including a live session by London-based singer, Lisa Knapp, and her band.

Mark Radcliffe presents an hour of the best folk and acoustic music from Britain and beyond, including the latest releases, classic tracks and news from the folk world.

This week, Mark welcomes English singer Lisa Knapp to the Salford studio for a live session.
Lisa created a stir with her debut folk album, Wild and Undaunted, which came out in 2007. Her version of The Blacksmith, remixed by Youth, was one of the key releases of that time.

Nearly seven years on, she returns with a second full-length album, Hidden Seam, which features contributions by Martin Carthy, Alasdair Roberts, James Yorkston and Kathryn Williams. Lisa and her band join Mark in Salford Quays to perform music from the new record and chat about how she's filled the intervening years.
