Twenty-six years after first appearing at the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Proms with the big band Loose Tubes, Django Bates returns with his own trio in conjunction with the Grammy-nominated Norrbotten Big Band from Sweden. Charlie Parker is a beloved hero of Bates, and by presenting a celebration of this bebop pioneer, he adds his own spin to Parker classics, as well as including some of his own new material.
