Lopa Kothari visits the Rainforest World Music Festival in Sarawak, which presents local musicians as well as bands from across the world on a stage nestling between the edge of the Borneo jungle and the South China Sea.
Including sets from Malaysian gamelan ensemble Rhythm in Bronze, Sarawak Longhouse band Madeeh, Australian aboriginal troupe Nunukul Yuggera, and million-selling star of Indonesian pop, Rafly Wa Saja, whose songs protest against Rainforest destruction.
