#Clash6Music

Tom Robinson invites listeners to collaborate on a Clash-inspired playlist to tie in with a very special 6Music announcement.

To celebrate our big Clash announcement on Cerys' 6 Music show earlier today (Sunday 18 August), Tom Robinson invites listeners to create the ultimate Clash-inspired playlist.

Since the release of their self-titled debut album in 1977, the punk band fronted by Joe Strummer have exerted a lasting influence on UK music - and beyond - with their mix of politicised lyrics, musical experimentation, and rebellious attitude.

So in honour of Cerys' very special 6 Music news, Tom asks listeners for their ultimate Clash-inspired song selection.

This could be Clash B-sides and rarities, tracks from those they've influenced, their punk peers, fellow political musicians or music projects various Clash members have been involved with - from Big Audio Dynamite and The Mescaleros to The Good, The Bad and The Queen.
