Rochdale Town Hall Organ

Nigel Ogden meets the brilliant young organist Jonathan Scott in Rochdale Town Hall to celebrate its organ's centenary with music especially recorded for programme.

Nigel Ogden visits the old mill town of Rochdale which happens to have one of the finest Town Hall organs in the country and which is celebrating its centenary this year. He meets up with one of the UK's finest young players, Jonathan Scott, to talk about his CD in celebration of the anniversary and they both play music especially recorded for the programme reflecting the organ's past and some of the areas local musical personalities such as Gracie Fields and William Walton.
