Strange, Innovative and Wonderful Recordings

Producer, arranger and fellow musician Mason Neely returns to help host a special show highlighting strange, innovative and wonderful recordings.

Following the huge successes of their music specials, producer, arranger and fellow musician Mason Neely will return to Cerys' side to help host another cracking radio show.

Their 'Super Sunday' specials so far have invited people to listen to music from the perspective of different band members- from the drummer, bass player , guitarist to the keyboard player, and have tantalised and tickled musicians, would be musicians, music fans and casual listeners alike.

On August 11th they will be taking their geekdom to the nation again -this time covering strange , innovative and wonderful recordings.

From grey parrots fronting rock bands to man's earliest recordings - it'll be an unmissable 2 hour journey in sound.'

And in a specially extended show ahead of the 6 Music prom which Cerys is performing in on Monday, she has Radio 3's Tom Service and fellow Proms performer Anna Meredith in to talk about the idea of collaboration and the opportunities this affords.
