The 2013 series of the general knowledge music quiz reaches the grand Final, with Paul Gambaccini asking the questions.

The competitors who have won through the heats and semi-finals of the 2013 Counterpoint series in the preceding months finally have their sights on the 27th Counterpoint title, and the handsome silver trophy that goes with it.

Their final hurdle is the grand final at London's Radio Theatre.

Paul Gambaccini quizzes them on every aspect of music, from Cole Porter to Coldplay, from Rossini to the Rolling Stones.

This trio of competitors battling it out are:

* Wilson Bain from Glasgow
* Alan McLean from Debden, Essex
* Mick Quinn from Bristol
