Ken Bruce presents highlights from the Coronation Festival Gala recorded yesterday evening in the grounds of Buckingham Palace. This very special event features performances by Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Katherine Jenkins, Russell Watson, Katie Melua, Only Boys Aloud and The Feeling. The concert takes as its theme the Age of the New Elizabethans and recounts in words, dance and music the 60 years since the Queen's Coronation.

Interval: It is 60 years since the coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, and in a condensed celebration we offer some highlights from those years. It's a trip through the decades and events such as Roger Bannister's world record of running mile in under 4 minutes, the moon landing, decimalisation, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the London Olympics and much more.
