Iggy Azalea's Ultimate Mixtape

Hip hop goddess Iggy Azalea talks Radio 1 through the music that inspired her as she creates her ultimate mixtape.

There's much more to Iggy Azalea than her supermodel looks and, if you've caught her live on stage, you'll know that she's an MC to be reckoned with.

Iggy left Australia at the age of 16 and headed for Miami to pursue a career in rap music after spending her early teenage years obsessing over the music and lifestyle of her idols - Tupac, Missy Elliot and Eve. She's never looked back. Fast forward a few years and some firece determination, Iggy is one of the hottest new names on the hip hop scene.

Her own music is a mash up of the cities she's drifted through in the US, mixing the laid back G-Funk vibes of LA, with some Miami bass and trap, creating some seriously Dirty South hip hop.

But, what was it that inspired this small town Aussie ex-pat to beat the local big players at their own game? Iggy reveals all as she talks us through her musical influences and selects the tracks that create her ultimate mixtape.

Expect the unexpected.
