The European Court of Human Rights has ruled 'whole life' sentences for prisoners in England and Wales breach human rights. Kaye asks whether a life sentence should be for life.

The European Court of Human Rights has ruled that 'whole life' tariffs given to 49 prisoners in England and Wales breached their human rights. The Westminster government has said it is appalled at the ruling and believes the majority of the public agree. In Scotland we have no whole life tariffs and all prisoners are set a term to allow parole hearings but the Scottish Conservatives believe that we should also introduce whole life terms. Should a life sentence be exactly that, for life?

A Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland Investigation to be shown on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One Scotland looks at the world's most popular drug, caffeine, and our increasing consumption. Ken MacDonald finds out what it's doing to us, how it affects our brains and how caffeinated products have been beating the recession. But what about you - would giving up your morning coffee be too big an ask, do you rely on an energy drink to get through a night out or have you long given up on caffeine and the side effects that come with it? Could you live without caffeine?

And Kaye speaks to an expert about bedtime routines - the when, why and how to get your child into one.
