Ready Meals
Business competition. The candidates are called to the restaurant at the top of the Gherkin, where Lord Sugar gives them the task of creating and branding a ready meal.
The candidates are called to the restaurant at the top of the Gherkin in London, where Lord Sugar tells them about their tasty task - to create and brand their own ready meal.
There's tension for some right from the start as reluctant cooks are confined to the kitchen. One of the teams has two very different ideas on the table, and a food fight ensues to decide which to go with.
Some make a meal out of branding their dishes, while the rest whip up the food. But with novice cooks in the kitchen, will the meals be a triumph, or leave a nasty taste?
The next day it's off to pitch to Britain's supermarket giants, after testing the products on focus groups. Will the candidates botch their branding? Or will the meals prove tough to stomach?
In the boardroom the orders are revealed, and while one team breathes a sigh of relief, the losing team get a roasting. Things heat up and someone finds the hard truth tough to swallow, as Lord Sugar utters the fateful phrase 'You're Fired!'.
