The comedy tells the story of divorcees Elyot Chase and Amanda Prynne whose paths cross when they book adjoining honeymoon suites with their new spouses. An adaptation of David Mitchell's novel Cloud Atlas published in 2004, the film follows six different narratives, all interwoven and spanning across various locations and time periods. From the remote 19th century South Pacific to the far post-apocalytic future, each of the 6 tales are told from the characters point of view for a short period of time until we are propelled to the next. The exploration reveals how the actions of individual lives impact one another in the past, present and future. It shows how a single action can ripple across centuries shaping a soul from a killer to a hero, or inspiring a revolution.

Bangor Ìýhas built a special mobile theatre to host The Collection of Fears and Desires, a heartfelt piece of physical theatre from The Netherlands by Roos van Geffen. The production will be in Welsh, Dutch and English.Ìý Roos collected the deepest fears and desires of random passers-by all over Europe and turned them into a play.
