Mark presents an hour of the best folk and acoustic music, including a lively live session from Paris-based Cajun dance band, Sarah Savoy & the Francadians.

Mark presents his weekly folk and acoustic show, live from Salford Quays.

His guest this week is Louisiana singer and musician Sarah Savoy and her French band, The Francadians. Based in Paris, but originally from Louisiana, Sarah is the daughter of cajun music royalty Marc and Ann Savoy, and the sister of Joel Savoy and Wilson Savoy (Pine Leaf Boys).

Her music is a rootsy and stirring mix of dance music and rockabilly. On the eve of some UK dates, Sarah and The Francadians bring their cajun sound, style and cooking tips to the Salford canalside.
