This week, Jamie selects classic tracks and shares anecdotes about how he first heard them as well as explaining their significance in the world of jazz. He also features a few words from American guitarist and singer Shuggie Otis, son of the Godfather of R&B Johnny Otis and well-respected jazz musician. Shuggie talks about the people he met through working with his father and the influence of jazz on their music. He also discusses becoming a musician in his own right and working with a diverse range of artists from Frank Zappa to Mos Def.
