Brian Matthew dips into his record bag once again, to bring you more hits and forgotten sounds from this golden era of pop music.

As always, Brian will be honouring listener requests including Love of the Loved by Cilla Black. This track, her debut release on Parlophone, was this previously unreleased song given to her by John Lennon although Paul McCartney had written most of it. The Beatles used to include the song in their live act and recorded it as part of their disastrous Decca audition but their version has never appeared to this day on any official record release.
