Johnnie meets Joe Walsh and Timothy B Schmit of The Eagles, one of the most successful 70s bands of all time.

Johnnie Walker celebrates the decade of Cortinas, Heralds and Silver Shadows.

This week he's in conversation with Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit of The Eagles as they release a career-spanning documentary History Of The Eagles. Covering their meteoric rise through to breakup in 1980, it includes interviews with all current and former members of the band, plus close friends including Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt and Kenny Rogers.

In the band's career they have sold more than 120 million albums worldwide, earned five number one singles in their native US and won six Grammy Awards. Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 is the best-selling album of all time with over twenty nine million sales.

Also on the programme Johnnie will add another classic forty-five to Johnnie's Jukebox, and the vocal talents of England's 1970 World Cup squad will be revisited courtesy of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ archive.
