The legal system protects the identity of alleged victims, but not the people who are accused - is that right?
The legal system protects the identity of alleged victims, but not the people who are accused - is that right? What happens if they are found innocent? Is their name forever tarnished and their reputation forever tainted? Are we too quick to think anyone who is arrested for a sexual crime is automatically guilty? In some cases naming the accused has meant other victims have come forward.... It's given them the confidence that they will be believed.
