Chris Evans celebrates the arrival of Friday with some magnificent tunes, plus Richard Hammond has news of an important 500 WORDS meeting.

Richard Hammond is at Radio 2 HQ because he and the other 500 WORDS judges - Dame Jacqueline Wilson, Charlie Higson, Malorie Blackman and Frank Cottrell Boyce - are gathering to choose this year's winners!

Over 90,000 stories have been read and marked, since the competition closed on the 22nd February, and they've been whittled down to our Final 50. Now it's decision time, as our celebrity judges pick the Gold, Silver and Bronze winner in each age category.

This very exciting information remains TOP secret until Friday 31st May, when all 50 finalists join us LIVE from the Hay Festival, for a very special Breakfast Show.
