When Phil makes a strange purchase at the Minute Mart, Kim thinks she has uncovered Sharon's real whereabouts. Bianca is furious when she learns Carol has lied to her.
The morning after he jilted Sharon, Jack’s desperate. He longs to see her but Max tells him to let the dust settle. Has he made a mistake? Things aren’t easy when there are kids. Sharon’s hiding at Phil’s, claiming it’s best for Dennis. She admits to Phil she’s had a lucky escape from Jack. The market gossip about Sharon’s whereabouts but when Kim spots Phil buying shampoo in the Minute Mart, she twigs the situation. Dennis answers the door to Tanya and Ian who offer help, but Ian let’s slip that there’s gossip… Sharon decides to go back to the club and tenderly thanks Phil for having always been there. Dennis sees Jack in the café and runs to him just as Sharon walks in. Furious, she shouts at Dennis, later apologising. But Dennis is secretly packing a bag to run away.
Steve swears to Bianca it’s not a simple fling with Carol. Bianca berates Carol for promising she’d ended with Steve. What if Steve talks to her new probation officer, Annette? Masood, who’s been tutoring a twitchy Liam, stands by. Carol arranges to meet Steve in the Vic. Masood gets there first, warning Steve to go easy on Carol, as Bianca’s putting on the pressure to dump him. Wounded and angry, Steve leaves as Carol enters.
Kirsty thinks Max has his priorities wrong. She tells him that it’s her body and she will do what she wants.
Lola is very excited about having Lexi for the night. Phil forgets Lexi’s tiger, but Billy is proud when Lola gets Lexi off to sleep anyway.
Lauren shows little interest in the marathon Joey is training for in aid of a heart charity. She’s troubled by the secret of Kirsty’s pregnancy. Joey is frustrated that she won’t open up to him.
