It is the day of the wedding, and Sharon and Jack are determined to go ahead despite their own guilty secrets. Ian and Jean work on the catering, and Ian makes a dreadful mistake.
Sharon asks Phil if he told Jack about their kiss; insisting she’ll never forgive him if he ruins the day. Dennis gives Sharon a bracelet. Sharon heads to No.5 to get ready for the wedding. Jack suggests Phil keeps his mouth shut if he thinks anything of Sharon. Poppy witnesses the exchange and mentions it to Sharon. Jack admits to Michael and Max he saw Ronnie and Phil knows. Sharon and Jack meet and each realise the other doesn’t know their secret. Excited, Jack puts on his wedding suit. Sharon leaves a message thanking Phil but admitting she feels bad, Jack’s always been honest. Carol lends Sharon a pair of her mother’s earrings. Phil tells Lola there isn’t going to be a wedding. Jack takes Amy to the Vic for a change of clothes. Roxy admits she hasn’t told Alfie Ronnie’s being released. Roxy makes Jack promise he loves Sharon as much as Ronnie. Sharon and Tanya head for R&R. Phil’s waiting outside. Phil doesn’t mention Ronnie, just kisses Sharon on the cheek and says congratulations. After assuring Tanya she wants to marry Jack, Sharon walks up the aisle. But when she reaches Jack, he tells her he’s sorry, he can’t marry her…
Lauren offers to decorate R&R for the wedding after the planners mess up. She ropes Kirsty in to help; they have fun and do a great job. Max overreacts when Kirsty drinks champagne and Lauren realises she’s pregnant. Kirsty begs her not to say anything.
Ian prepares the food for the wedding, only allowing Jean to put sticks in sausages. When Jean’s choice of waitress, Shirley, arrives, Ian sends them both away. But after realising he’s accidentally seasoned everything with sugar, not salt, Ian begs for Jean’s help.
Carol agrees to tell Steve it’s over to placate Bianca.
