Janice Forsyth celebrates the 40th anniversary of The Rocky Horror Show with its creator Richard O'Brien and Rocky Horror virgin Rich Preston goes behind the scenes at this year's touring production at The King's Theatre in Glasgow to hear from the audience, the narrator, actor and director Philip Franks and Rocky, classically trained baritone singer and former X-Factor contestant Rhydian Roberts.

Janice and Richard O'Brien explore the show's trajectory from humble beginnings to one of the best loved stage musicals of all time, and discuss how it came about in the first place, and we hear some of the music from the cult film: The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Richard O'Brien considers the crucial influence of Tim Curry on making the show a success, talks about how he wrote each of the songs, and gives his opinions on modern day icons Lady Gaga and Madonna.

They discuss the influence of pop art, the struggle Richard has faced his whole life to become accepted, the role he believes he's played in helping other people to feel free to express themselves, and his plans for the future, including his impending marriage.
