Kat wakes up and immediately regrets her behaviour from the night before. After some soul searching, she decides to take control of her life - but can she succeed?

At Cora’s insistence, Abi brings a bill to the B&B for Max and is intercepted by Kirsty. Having been splashed by a lorry, Kirsty hurriedly changes, keen for a chat with Abi about Max. Abi notices Kirsty’s skirt is tucked into her knickers and embarrassed, makes a quick exit, agreeing to have dinner with Max and Kirsty. Lauren reluctantly agrees but Cora will have no part in it. Max and Kirsty arrive with fish and chips; the meal’s awkward until Kirsty mentions the skirt in the knickers incident. Everyone’s laughing when Tanya suddenly arrives home with Oscar.

Masood invites Carol for a cookery lesson date. Bianca teases Carol and AJ taunts Masood but Tamwar’s upset. Masood gets a shock when he arrives home with cooking ingredients to find Ayesha waiting in the living room.

Kat wakes in Michael’s bed, feeling horribly guilty. Alfie notes Kat’s not on her stall and, worried, leaves her voice messages apologising. Kat’s anxious but Michael thinks she and Alfie are merely addicted to drama and should make a clean break. Roxy’s unimpressed when Alfie goes to check on Kat; he learns from Joey she didn’t come home. Kat watches Alfie from the window. Michael makes an awkward attempt at sympathy, to Kat’s amusement. She trails home, despairing, and confides in Lauren. Lauren’s in the midst of a feminism essay and advises Kat not to be a victim or give Alfie power over her. Inspired, Kat later arrives at the Vic to pick up Tommy. When Roxy wonders pointedly where she’s been and accuses her of having a one night stand, Kat calmly announces she slept with Michael.

Michael wonders if Phil could pass any dirty money business his way. Phil refuses.
