With more than 20 teams from across the World competing in the 2012 Kabaddi World Cup there are hopes that this traditional Indian sport could one day become an Olympic event. 麻豆约拍 Asian Network reporter Sukhi Hayer spent a week travelling across Punjab following the England women's team - an all-white team that attracts a great deal of attention on the subcontinent. Most of the England players are from the British Army but there are also teachers, a police officer and even a pig farmer; their coach Ashok Das is the only Asian part of the team. The girls rank second in the world and hope that this year they make it to the final giving favourites India a run for their money. But are the girls really prepared for the chaos, heat and conditions that await them in North India? And can Kabaddi ever truly get its act together and become an Olympic sport?
