The Mitchells congregate to celebrate Lexi's special day, Alfie does his best to move on from Kat, Ayesha decides to take drastic action and Sharon faces a difficult dilemma.

It’s the day of Lexi’s christening. Phil has prepared everything, including changing Lexi’s name to ‘Lexi Billie Mitchell’ on the orders of service. Lola, unaware, has a bracelet for Lexi, engraved: ‘Lexi Pearce’. Phil gathers everyone for photos in the Vic. Problems ensue: Billy’s jacket’s ripped; Sharon discovers Jack shouted at Phil; Lola wonders if Phil has selfish intentions. Sharon and Jack argue and Jack proposes. Without answering, Sharon leaves for Phil’s, who also proposes. Lola sees the name ‘Lexi Billie Mitchell’ on the orders of service. Furious, she takes Lexi and leaves. Michael sees Sharon staring at Phil’s engagement ring, and brings it up with Jack, assuming the ring was from him. Jack realises Phil must’ve proposed too. Lola confronts Phil about Lexi’s name. Phil tells her if they’re all called ‘Mitchell’ they’ll be a proper family. He assures Lola Sharon’s happy with the name change too and reveals he’s asked her to marry him, and so the christening begins. Sharon finds Jack crying by James’ gravestone and asks Jack if it’s enough that they love each other. During the christening, Lola names Lexi: Lexi Billie Mitchell. Afterwards, Phil, Sharon and Jack disappear. Sharon says ‘yes’ to one of her potential fiancés – but which one?
At the Masoods’, a hung-over Ayesha’s being sick. Zainab discovers Rashid, Ayesha’s potential future husband, is coming over at midday. Just before Rashid arrives Ayesha disappears. Masood later finds Ayesha. She tells him she’s realised there’s more to life than finding a suitor. Masood convinces Ayesha to meet Rashid. In the end, Ayesha’s meeting with Rashid goes better than she expected.
Alfie boxes up Kat’s belongings and Roxy moves in. Roxy voices her concerns to Alfie that it might be too soon. Alfie’s put a hand-drawn picture of him and Roxy above the bed which makes her laugh, maybe it will work.
Kim’s delighted when Shirley’s offered the job at McKlunky’s; she’ll be able to pay for her room at the B&B.
