Steve Lamacq, head of Radio 2's Rock College, gives listeners a taste of his daily ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 6 Music Show.
Steve Lamacq, head of Radio 2's Rock College, has been on ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ radio for nearly 20 years, but he's still as interested and excited by music as he was when he wrote for his teenage fanzine A Pack of Lies.
When he's not busy sharing his findings with Radio 2 listeners on Wednesday nights, Steve can be heard every weekday on ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 6 Music from 4pm. And this programme features two live highlights: Blur and 2011 Mercury winners The XX, in session for Steve at the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ's Maida Vale studios earlier this year.
It concludes the 6 on 2 series showcasing some of the fine programmes available on 6 Music, which was named UK station of the year at the 2012 Sony Radio Academy Awards.
