The former indie star turned journalist and broadcaster Lauren Laverne gives Radio 2 listeners a taste of her daily Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 6 Music show.

Lauren Laverne began her career fronting the indie band Kenickie while still at school. Following the group's split in 1998, Lauren moved into broadcasting and journalism, and she's been hosting a daily live programme on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 6 Music since 2009.

Live music is an essential component of Lauren's show, with 2012 session guests including Primal Scream, Bat for Lashes, Hot Chip, Paul Weller, Orbital and De La Soul.

This 6 on 2 series showcases some of the programmes available on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 6 Music, which was named UK station of the year at the 2012 Sony Radio Academy Awards. You can catch Lauren's 6 Music show every weekday, from 10am.
