In the week of his new live album release, the much acclaimed singer/songwriter Jason Isbell joins Bob in a session recorded in Nashville earlier this year.
2012 has seen a quantum leap in Jason's career. After the release of his second solo album "Here We Rest" in 2011 his success has moved on in leaps and bounds, with the song "Alabama Pines" coming in for particular attention and acclaim, including an Americana Award for Song Of The Year.
Jason plays the song live for Bob Harris Country tonight and talks to Bob about the changes in his life and work since leaving the Drive-By Truckers in 2007.
