Gary McKinnon's mother Janis Sharp talks about her fight to block her son’s extradition

This week the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Secretary, to the US of computer hacker Gary McKinnon. Gary’s McKinnon’s mother Janis Sharp says she has been on an "emotional rollercoaster" whilst fighting her son’s extradition. He admitted hacking into US government computers but claims he was looking for evidence of UFOs. Gary also has Asperger Syndrome which is a form of autism. He was arrested in 2002 and extradition proceedings began in 2005.

Over the past couple of weeks has received calls from children asking them to explain the Jimmy Savile abuse allegations and the has received increased calls from adults about children and sexual abuse. So what’s the best way to tell children about a sensitive news story and is there a right time and place to do it? Jenni is joined by Sue Minto Head of Childline

The American singer songwriter Amanda Palmer came to fame as one half of Brechtian punk cabaret band The Dresden Dolls and most recently Amanda Palmer and the Grand Theft Orchestra. Known for being heavily engaged with her fan community, she reached out to a crowd funding platform to fund the release of her new album ‘Theatre is Evil’. She raised over $1m dollars in just thirty days. She joins Jenni to discuss her music and performs live in the studio. Theatre is Evil by Amanda Palmer and the Grand Theft Orchestra is out now.

The co-curator Sonnet Stanfill shows Judi Herman a particularly dramatic piece designed by Victor Edelstein in 1986 and worn by his regular customer, Lady Anne Heseltine, wife of Sir Michael Heseltine.
