Autism: Another Piece in the Puzzle
Autism is one of the most challenging disabilities and one of the hardest to comprehend. In this week's Science Cafe Sian Pari Huws investigates ReacTickles and Somantics, two exciting computer programs designed to help people on the Autistic Spectrum develop their communication skills.

Created in Wales, these programs have been taken up all over the world. Sian speaks to their creator, Dr. Wendy Keay-Bright from Cardiff School of Art and Design, meets some of the teachers and staff at special schools working with the program, and experiences it for herself.
On the 3rd of October 2012 Wendy and the programme's producer, David Jackson, will be . The software described in the programme will be running in the foyer area and audience participation will be shown on the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ website from 14:00-17:00 on the day.
