Barbarossa

Marc has live session from London-based singer-songwriter James Mathe, aka Barbarossa.

Last with us in 2009 tonight we welcome back Barbarossa - London based singer-songwriter James MathΓ©.

Having released his first album Chemical Campfires on Fence records in 2008, his latest offerings are titled the Butterfly Plague EP and an LP called Bloodlines. It's clear that James is a man that doesn't hang around. The same goes for his musical style, with early releases being folk driven, the new releases have seen James turning to vintage Casio keyboards, an omnichord, 808 drum machine and layered electric guitars.
