35 per cent of teachers have been subject to violence and abuse in Scotland in the past year. Kaye Adams asks what the state of discipline is in Scotland's schools.

Thirty five percent of teachers have been subjected to violence and abuse in the past year. The Scottish Tories call it 'a shocking indictment' yet the government says it's an improving picture. Kaye Adams asks what state discipline in our schools is in?

A Glasgow City Councillor has said that he's very concerned about the problem with beggars and they bring down the image of cities. Conservative David Meikle said they are an obstruction and make people feel uncomfortable when there is no need for people to beg or be homeless as the help is there. He added police and councils need to take tough action. Kaye asks how you feel when you pass someone begging or even sleeping rough in the streets? Does it make you feel uncomfortable? And do you ever try and help?

And the Scilly Isles want to join forces with the islands in Scotland and have applied to become members of the Scottish Islands Federation. Kaye hears from the leading force behind it who says they would welcome moral support from the SIF when it comes to lobbying the UK and European Governments on issues such as fuel costs.
