Up and Away

14-year-old Rosie King, who has autism, hears the moving, often inspirational stories of kids who, like her, have made the great leap to big school.

The move up from primary to secondary school can be intimidating for any child, but what's it like if you're a bit different in any way?

In this special programme,14-year-old Rosie King - who has autism herself - hears the moving, often inspirational stories of kids who, like her, have made the great leap to big school. Daniel was picked on at primary school for having restricted growth, and feared it would happen again at secondary school. Eyar's Cerebral Palsy meant she faced the challenge of moving up from a special school, whilst Callum's visual impairment left him vulnerable to bullying.

Combining moving testimony from incredible characters with carefully crafted animation, this programme shows us that the big move up can be as liberating as it is scary.
