The Gala Concert following the British Open Brass Band Championships is one of the stand out events in the banding year. Featuring Black Dyke, Grimethorpe, the Cory Band and this year the Radio 2 Young Brass Award winner 2012 Ross Knight, this is the first of two highlight programmes of music and conversation recorded in Symphony Hall Birmingham presented by Frank Renton.
